Curriculum Companion is an online teacher resource for integrating technology into the Open Court, Houghton Mifflin, McDougal Littell, and Holt adopted curriculum for English Language Arts. Curriculum resources include Powerpoint presentations, graphic organizers, and suggested Internet links and video clips that are directly aligned to the activities and lessons found in the textbook materials.

For a sample of the newly revised Open Court Build Background Powerpoint presentations currently being added to grades 1-6 , and all new Holt Build Background Powerpoint presentations being added for grades 6-8, click on the images to the right. These new Powerpoint presentations include California standards, Vocabulary Development, and support for building background through the use of images and photos.
